Student driver training @ Melton

yes did it with two different schools.....winsor gave me a problem i hit a bumper and they would not let me use there truck for the test so i had to go to jersey tractor trailer to take a refresher and rent the truck so two schools 8000.00 out of pocket i just want to drive a guy from melton told me find a starter co and come back in 90 days....it states on there site student program i am 40 with a class A and now i have to jump through hoops to get in with a good co like melton i want one co and thats it i dont want to be a floater like alot people on here all i read is this co sucks that co sucks to me they are the people that cant handle real work ......

 

I use to think that also when I was green and just got started in the trucking business, I still haven't been in it that long but I have learned a few things - if your not getting treated well you have to go somewhere else.
A little experience changes a lot of thinking, lastly if you will work for free trucking companies will find a lot of free work for you to do so you have to be clear when your paychecks are low that you won't accept that. Good Luck on your new career

 

when you get your own truck do you take it home with you

 

yes, there are stipulations of course in regards to safety and seecurtiy but you take care of it.

No regional routes. Sorry. There are quite a few lanes we have that run up there tho...

 

whats the deal i got flat out turned down said i need a month exp what the hell it says student training i am PISSED.....

 

hmmmmmmmmmm....have you finished a school yet? i don't see why they'd turn you down if you completed a school...

 

ya i finished i have my cdl her name was ashley c....yeah i did got my medical card i was ready to get my twic hazmat and passport.so i can run canada....should i talk to someone else.....i have had my cdl since august 14 time is ticking and the bills dont stop coming in if ya know what i mean,out of all the companys melton seemed like the best hands down now what any help would be awesome....

 

I would just toss them aside and go look somewhere else... Like you said you got bills to pay look out for yourself...
