I don't blame you on the carolina cargo option. You're not a felon, you hung out with an idiot and you paid the price for it. I don't think much of the driving down the road and the passengers drinking. The passengers are not your freinds in that situation at all. The fact that you're 22 is possibly a bigger hang up than the ticket. Under 23 or better yet 25 hinders your options.

 

moving violation or not when a company looks at your MVR and it shows something alcohol related there gonna back off like crazy. worst yet they bring you to oriantation and then drop you during or at the end of your stay. your 1st step is to go get a copy of your MVR to see exactly whats on it. Also request a free copy of your dac to mak sure the Lic portion of that is clear. At that point you will know exactly what you have. Also don't falt the other driver he is right in a way, any good school would have looked into your driving record first and counseled you on your options. For many schools money is what there all about! Finally don’t get upset about what you read here, this is what trucking is, tuff love. We may be a dumb #####** here but that same drive will at least make a call for you if he saw you on the roadside or in need of help. A fellow hand can be your worst best brother. We fight and we respect when its due!
