    At the top of this page it says it is posted in the questions from new drivers sections... op says he moved it here after originally posting in oilfield... I never look at oil field so that is why I saw it in new driver section....

    I do agree however that newbies can do well in oilfields as it is a young mans job... very demanding and mega hours.. thats why the hos rules dont apply to them... they drive you into the ground.. but you can make big bucks for sure...

    I would like to get into oilfield, but I am interested in the flatbed/tanker route as a backup.
