student looking for opinions

    hello,

    im currently in cdl school. if all goes well i will have my cdl class A at the end of june. my wife and i are expecting our first child in august so i dont think that any one of the major trucking companies that require otr will be an option for me. im going to apply to abf who does hire recent grads from cdl school but i had a dui 6 years ago that might hold me back from getting that job. i really dont know what the best options are at this point. if anyone could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

    I think Schneider will hire if the DUI is over 5 years, call and check. If they will, you can do dedicated or regional and be home quite a bit with the family.
