    Yes I have been to Tamko many times. I assume you are talking about the one in Frederick MD. There are other Tamko plants in MO and TX, but they aren't quite as tight. Those bays were designed for a 96" wide trailer, so the 102" wides are an extremely tight fit. You usually hear people who haven't been there before mocking drivers on the CB about taking time to back in, that is until they try it themselves. :biggrin_25525:


    I am in a 379 as that was the only choice we could get on longhaul. I would not have taken a 387 if they paid me extra. I did train in one and while I liked the interior I hated to drive it. It took more room to turn and back than the 379's and that annoyed me.

    Good luck Rob. If you have come this far you should not have any problems. You can even screw up a couple of turns on the road test without failing. Take as much time as you need to on the backing and you will be fine. Keep us informed.
