    I
I personally do not care wether you smoke or not so no judgements here. It has been over a year since I went through the orientation and testing, but it was just a monitored urinalysis at that time. They also do a BP test and a few other things but as far as drug/alcohol it was urine.
Good luck with whatever career you end up with.

    Hey man,
Straight up, TMC does a urine and sometimes a breathalyzer. If you have any doubt on your ability to pass a drug screening do not attempt to take a DOT drug test. Even if you have done drugs recently i would not do it! They take at home dip stick urine tests are not enough! The urine is sent to a lab and tested there. If you come up with a positive test result you will more likely then not drive for a decent company if any company again. It will be reported and all company's do check on your past record!

    Same to you sir!!
I am not sure where I left off our previous update but I am currently working for a local gas, oil and propane supplier in my home town. I drive multi-axle transport delivering gas and diesel to stations around MI. Pay is similar to what I was making at TMC but I am home every night and get the perk of a HUGE discount on propane for the house as well as company paid health care for me. Even with the wife added we get health, dental and limited vision coverage for about $100 a month.
There really is life out there off the road if you look hard enough for it. lol

Have a great year and avoid northern MI for a few weeks, roads up here are stupid right now with snow and ice. Makes hauling 65 tons of truck and freight a joy some days.
