Remember that thread about Katy Perry's all gold promotional semi getting hit by a drunk?
That semi inspired John Mayer to launch this one:
This trend could inspire a whole new generation of truckers. I hope ABBA is next!![]()

Man dies after running in front of tractor-trailer in Lubbock
A Lubbock Police Department investigator paints a marker Monday morning at the scene of a fatal accident.
LUBBOCK -- Investigators believe Wesley Arceneaux, 69, intentionally ran into the path of an Allied moving truck about 9:40 a.m. Monday in the 5700 block of West Loop 289, said Lubbock police Sgt. Robert Hook.
Arceneaux was taken by EMS to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Hook said the investigation is ongoing.
The truck driver, Daniel Torres of San Antonio, he said he saw Arceneaux run across the roadway. Torres said he yelled at Arceneaux to stop moments before he was struck.
I didnt see him until he was at the middle of the road already, he said.
It looked as if Arceneaux was aiming for his truck, Torres said.
He dashed at it, he said.
Police shut down the westbound lane of Loop 289 from Slide Road to the Marsha Sharp Freeway for two hours as they investigated the incident.

Michigan: Drunk driver crashes into fire truck on scene of another drunk driving crash
TRAVERSE CITY -- Two drunk drivers caused serious problems in Traverse City Thursday morning with one driver hitting a light pole, the other hitting a fire truck at the scene of the first crash.
Police say around midnight a 29-year-old Traverse City man was driving west on the Grandview Parkway near Cass Street when he lost control and hit a power pole. The driver told police he had been drinking. The man's blood alcohol content was .18 and he was arrested for drunk driving.
A Traverse City fire truck was called to the scene to block one lane of traffic on the Grandview Parkway while power crews repaired the damage from the crash. The fire engine had its lights activated and traffic cones were put in place to block the lane.
Around 1:00 a.m. while Traverse City Light and Power was trying to repair the power pole, a second drunk driver crashed into the back of the fire truck.
The driver of the second vehicle was a 51-year-old Traverse City woman who told investigators she didn't see the fire truck blocking the lane. Her blood alcohol content was .189 and she was also arrested for drunk driving.
Both drunk drivers were treated for minor injuries at the scene and taken to the Grand Traverse County Jail.
A Traverse City Fire Fighter was on the fire truck when the collision occurred, he was not injured.
