I've been banned from this site more than once for that, so you may want to hold it to a minimum.
And, by the way, I don't think it is a spelling error 'as much' as it is grammar.
We could go on an on about things, like their and there and they're.
Endless possibilities for corrections with endless posts.
Go for it, if you wish to be banned from the site.
Stupid fueling question

Or...
A more recent moment.
Which version of the phrases is more correct?
Maybe the context has something to do with it?
And at this moment I am actually quite the senior.

And this thread sure has taken a wild tangent away from the original topic, hasn't it?

I'm an educated individual and hope I write clearly and correctly. I did miss a spelling error with gona instead of gonna in one of my posts on this thread.
My fault is I tend to be verbose.
Anyway, I wouldn't expect folks on a trucking forum to have an absolutely impeccable command of the written word. If this were a forum for writers, different story.
BTW, I dumped 50 gallons in my driver's side tank. As expected my gage initially showed almost full. But, it did go down like I was burning fuel for 4 engines going up a grade!! After half hour or so, it was about right.xsetra, Moosetek13, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -

I just tossed that comment in for a bit of fun..... didn't call anyone out. Just two words that are commonly interchanged. There was no malice intended. I too am surprised by the reactions. Well.......at least people are aware of the difference. Carry on

Just last week I had a heavy load that precluded filling my fuel tanks, and instead meant doing exactly what the OP described, just putting in fifty gallons. I put it in my driver side tank, and it equalized out between both tanks fairly quickly as I drove down the road.
Bean Jr. and Truckermania Thank this.
