I'm in a perfect location I-40/ I-85 corridor.
But no bites. US Foods says one year minimum exp.
Stupid question: do I need to run logs?

Yeah, us foods and Sysco in SOME places say that. Others no. But no beverage company requires a year. They'd have no soda on the shelves if they did. That's a tough job for the new guys.
Doing_flatbed_nc Thanks this. -
I'm all about jumping out of the truck and working. Getting paid to work out keeps my sleep cycle in check and my body fat low. -
Oh, your body fat will be low. Lol. You ever heard the saying "you can't outwork a bad diet!"?? Bullcrap!! They never met a side loader soda driver. You get that job and you can eat and drink anything you want, at any time of the day, and still won't be able to keep weight on
firemedic2816 and Doing_flatbed_nc Thank this. -
Nows the time to apply if you're serious. Busy season is coming up. You prolly missed the hiring season, but they still might be looking to add another guy. Gotta move quick though. Don't worry about this one year experience stuff. They NEED guys NOW!!
Just trust me on thisDoing_flatbed_nc Thanks this. -
Yup. I'm in and out of my truck ten to twenty times a day now. When I'm not in, I'm chaining, strapping, pushing, pulling, hooking, winching, and dragging.
It's hard work but I've never felt better (except minor joint issues). I'm 43 and can't imagine a driving job where I wouldn't have to use muscle. -
