I’ve got a 2000 FLD120 and bought some of those plastic chrome gauge covers last night here at Iowa 80. Now, I do all the work on this truck and have no problems working with the engine, etc... but I can’t for the life of me figure out something so simple as to snap these covers on! Looks like I have the standard sizes in my dash, but the problem is that the covers look to be just a smidge too small and won’t fit over the black portion of the gauges. Sorry for the stupidity here, lol, but what in the world am I missing? Are they just that tight?? Can’t really slip them on without marring up the outside of the gauges. Thanks for the help and the funny comments that might be coming.

I’m not sure what the problem is.
I use them on my Columbia and they were slightly larger then the gauges.
I used some small pieces of double fave tape to hold them on.
