This is all I found see if it is for that radio
1) Open up your radio.
2) Find the small circuit board on the left of the radio.
3) Cut the green wire and tape it off.
4) There is an unplugged connector by this board....plug it in.
5) That's it.!You now have 8 bands of 40 channels.25.165-28.755. -
Yes, (And apparently I have to have at least ten characters, so I'll say) but not legally without a license.

26.800 is not a ham frequency your thinking 28.600 geting a license for 26.800 would not be easy.

You beat me to it anyway..yeah, just wanted to point out the obvious, that transmitting down there isn't legal.

YEA and lots of TV relay stuff down there too .....
Fact is stay in the 40 ch's and no one cares .... -
That is in the military allocations. Operating down there would be "dicey" at best. I do know of agencies that operate down there (digital mostly) and take a dim view of interlopers on there, tho I don't of specific agencies.
