Well i hope u are not like me. I brought my small toolbox when i first started driving only a couple screwdrivers and wrenches, and it has grown to another level since then . only need a couple more pieces and i could #### near run an overhaul in the parking lot. Tools to me are like a woman and her makeup .

Oh, I have plenty at home (but somehow, magically, more keep appearing :D). This bag will purposely be bare-minimum.

Right there with ya, although I prefer PB Blaster myself.

I always have a few things outside of the tool bag: tire gauge, gloves, "pokey tool" (mini Phillips rounded out a little, to clear bleeding QR valves) in my door pocket; tire thumper (claw hammer) on floor next to seat just inside door, cardboard box on passenger floor with paper towels, glass cleaner, PB Blaster, brake cleaner (for dirty 7-ways), brake line antifreeze, extra gloves one gallon storage bags (when I have to leave paperwork in front box on trailer for next driver); load straps, bungees, extra safety vest in storage box under passenger seat.

    D.Tibbitt and G13Tomcat Thank this.

A set of Torx bits. I don't know what kind of tractor you're driving but mine has Torx everywhere.

Nothing replaces a 3.3 sledge. If you drag van and have to slide the tandems 3.3# works better than 20 ounces. Of course, if you have all new(er) trailers, air assist pins seldom freeze up.

Careful of the Harbor Freight zip ties. Had to use a few strung together to hold a trailer door open and one of them snapped right in the middle. Luckily I saw the door start to swing before getting near the dock.
That's probably a better option in any case. Roll of that and some nips to cut off what you need.

    JReding and G13Tomcat Thank this.

Saw more than a few trailers with tie wire added to the door chains this week.

    JReding and G13Tomcat Thank this.
