For Texas, get an extended stay room in one of the major cities. Keep that room for at least 30 days and transfer your license over using the room as your address. Once you are in your truck, let that room go. Keep that address on your license. If law enforcement ever asks to see your ID and asks if that is your current address: "Yes."
For any important mail, get a P.O. Box. Sign up for Informed Delivery with USPS and every day you will receive an email showing what mail, if any, is being delivered to the address(es) you request. I have Informed Delivery for my home address and a P.O. Box of mine.

Probably better to rent an airbnb in a rural place where you can just park the bobtail over in the dirt.

When did that start? That's bad news!

The state parks let you park your bobtail there?

I'm an ex herman driver too. Where are you at nowadays?

Yep
I never had any issues
it’s smaller than most motorhomes
And I was paying for a camp site in the campground , same as a camp trailer or motorhome .
One state park had a marina and a huge parking lot and told me it was ok to bring my trailer as long as it wasn’t loaded .Sirscrapntruckalot Thanks this. -
Going that route, an inexpensive trailer on a cheap piece of land located within the hiring area of the desired company would be better.
