Any broker that does not pay you should list his or her name so we all can see who is the dead beat of the week. We are finding more and more brokers that don't pay as they should, let's keep the pressure on these guys because most of us need our money quickly.

 

yes i had bad experience with them. At first glance, some investors may not notice the arbitration clause in their new account form. All brokerage firms insist that this form be signed before they will accept an investor as a client, and this has important ramifications.

 

Total newby here, but Steve Horton of Horton Dispatching should go on some list somewhere. He is a scam artist and liar. Pulled a quick one on a total newby to the tune of a couple grand for delivering cars. He is near Huntsville Al or Fayetteville Tn and preys on people that are ignorant to the industry. He uses other peoples authority and has had numerous phone numbers, addresses, email addresses. He may have alias' also.

 

Insurance controls the business world. If the broker plans on staying in business long term, the last thing he wants is his bond and ins rates jacked. I would contact the bonding co and file a claim.

Are you or do you have any friends who are part of a 1%er MC club? If they have an affiliation in the brokers area, they tent to do collections pretty cheaply. Don't ask me how I know.

 

2 years later and this is how they are with me too. Worth every penny!

 

Why in the hell are you suing a broker if they don't owe you money? I think that is a fair assumption. And even if he was wrong, he was trying to help. Why are you being a D###?

 

That language should be contained within the Broker Carrier Agreement.

 

Ques: did u attempt to file a claim against their bond?
(Just a thought, even if its not a claim for the Bond. if u decide to file, this is what will happen, probably your case will be assigned an agent to review. This will more than likely be ques. & answers exchanged by 3 parties thru email. The insurer, yourself & the broker. This exchange will in essence be a work group to identify the problem. If, ur language is correct you may use this exchange to entrap the Broker with their own words subsequent to a Civil action. Defamation may become an issue during this work group exchange...cheap shots)
