insert name you have changed jobs about 4 times this week haven't you? I have read some of your posts where you were company driver, O/O, company again and now lease purchase all in the last week or so.

All company lease purchase deals are designed to make them money. They could care less about you.
They made probably 25,000 off your hard work, got their truck back to sell to another Sucker. And the cycle continues.

Had you been a company driver you would have made probably 25,000. plus benefits. Instead you netted 4400.

Wake up!!!! Companies dont have lease purchases to help you the driver earn more money. Never have, never will !!!

    Oh, and I might suggest...

Never go into any type of buisness if you dont have enough money to keep yourself from running out of fuel.

    Reciepe for disaster...

Op when did you go through orientation? You might have been in my class I quit 2 weeks ago and I was 1 of 3 that were left of my class. Hint that of the 12-14 that went out 5 months ago only 1 or 2 are still with them

dang it man, i pay all my permits and tags etc etc, have 2100 a month in truck, trl , apu and ins payments. i havent ever run out of fuel.

in five months a 60,000 gross equals 12,000 a month and based on 4.3 weeks in a month , you avg. 2800 hundred a week. thats not running hard. thats not running smart.

how many miles did you run in that 5 month period to do 60,000 gross how many of that were empty miles, how often did you get home?

welcome to o/o ville, on percentage you dont get paid any money when you are dead head, you work the load board to minimize dh miles.

were you not told you paid all those costs and no dh miles were paid , and idle cost to be compensated for an o/o?

give some exact figures on things and we might can tell where ya went wrong.

    Shadowed and danmissouri Thank this.

then he would have to buy his own truck, no lease/purchase with those guys.

the main problem with guys on the crst deal is they simply dont know where to go and where not to go. they end up shooting themselves in the foot.

and when you do get a settlement , it aint your paycheck, dont speend it all you may need it for the truck.

some guys have no idea whatsoever what it takes to lease/own a truck. you have a set amount to cover every week, you have to do that then some. you cant stay home to long, you cant go home every weekend.

if ya cant idle and have enough fuel money, buy a 300 dollar generator and cut out a piece of plywood and put a small window unit in the passenger window.

figure out how to make it work, dont moan and groan that the """company""" doesnt care. learn to run a business. heck after 33 years, i still wont deadhead home over 250 miles. it just aint cost effective.

either quit with the poor me routine or remain a company driver, being a owner/op aint for the weak in spirit.

and insert-name ,,,exactly what is a exO/O truck???
