Ok, first you might get 6mpg in a truck if your not loaded 79,000lbs running out of PA, through WV hills and more hills, and your truck doesn't have 650,000 miles on it, second fuel is $4.00 to $4.11 or so in pa. third that big discount your talking about is credited back to your card in 30 days or 48 hrs depending on where you fuel, forth you only get that discount at select locations not every pilot or TA and I call home Hixson, TN. to which the closest truck stop that takes comdata is 20 miles away it chattanooga, its simple they could have put the money on the other card as they have before and all would have been well, but for me to try to make it to the truck stop only to run out and cost myself $300.00 for 10 gallons of fuel, that would have been stupid. now as far as idle time, I idled only on my breaks, 10hrs, never sat and was always pre planned 2 loads ahead, never dead headed more than 100 miles, and a Malone lease truck will only run 67mph, and by your own admission you dont even drive OTR anymore.

No I got home thursday afternoon, couldnt get dispatch to answer the phone all day thursday, and I offered to deliver the load monday but they refused to give me the fuel, so I was not gonna run out, so they didnt have to send a wrecker they chose to send one.

Ok, I ran six days a week for 4.5 months which is $13,334 a month roughly. I went home once a month for 2 days, I never expected to be paid for idle time or deadhead miles, all i said was they didn't allow for that in your fuel advance, I never DH more than 100 miles and never took a load paying less than $1.80 per mile loaded, I am not saying that i didn't make some mistakes along the way, but I do know that in business your bottom line is what matters, and 8% profit is not gonna cut it in any business. I had alot of problems with the truck as well that shut me down a total of 2.5 of those weeks, I dont want anyone to feel sorry for me, I only posted this to let people know that if you want to make money CRST Malone is not the way to go, at least not with a L/P deal, it might be different for an O/O that has there own truck and trailer, from my own dispatchers mouth he said I was one of the best runners he had. so how bad are those other guys doing?

Well then, the bank who owned the ATM should have issued you a check for the amount they saved on removal and disposal of said ATM, then you could have fixed your truck:). Dont most ATMs have concrete pillars at both ends to prevent that?

They make liners that fit inside the frame(similar to a double frame) redrill any holes and rebolt it...good as new.( and not all that expensive) Thirty- two years and still waiting to run out of fuel....bet that sucks.
