Why are you still with Landstar if you are not making good money? Why not go back to Malone?

Malone is not bad if you bring your own ####. I sure don't miss the constant brake and tire measurements and DOT inspections since I left. The low quality of operators they lease on brings everyone there down to the lowest common denominator - "must inspect" ISS when crossing a scale.

You can make some good money though if you like hauling steel and aluminum.

Seems like the guys who had bad experience at Malone are the ones who ignored the most important four words of trucking - NEVER LEASE A TRUCK.

Tell my husband. He booked a load to NV, this morning, while I was pouring coffee. He keeps doing this crap and it pisses me off. He could have had a load paying $5 a mile and been home. He don't like my loads. They pay $700 for 136 miles.

He thinks $2300 for a trip to Las Vegas, is better. I added a $1500 LTL to his load. We could have scored $3800 for a load going a 1000 miles, to WI. Now, he's going to Vegas and we got jack-####.

Why are loads so hard for some guys to understand? Would anyone explain trucking to my husband? He been trucking for 25-30 years. He still doesn't understand how to make money.

I can get a load, with Landstar. I couldn't get loads with CRST.

We did that with CRST-Malone. I'd like to do it now. It's how we got our own trailer. As far as I know, we have Crawsfordsville. I'd wear my hubby out on coils and work them, myself.

We made money with Malone. They're calling and sending messages, every week. We don't miss being inspected. We don't miss being denied loads. I don't miss Malone/CRST at all.

I'll explain! If you love your wife, get a job as a plumber and stay home or the plumber will be cleaning your drains. I really can't understand anyone running out of fuel in a truck. They have what are called credit cards and cash these days. When I was leased to WS I ran out of fuel 1 time because the crossover fuel line froze up, (trucks no longer have on on the bottom of the tank) in -12 while I was asleep in WY. It pumped all the fuel into the right tank and it drew out of the left. That's 1 time in 2.4 million miles. As far as hauling. I will haul anything you can fit on a trailer. Money is money.

Rules to plumbing Everything runs downhill, the boss is always right. payday is on Friday, don't chew your fingernails.

You grossed $12,000 a month. We have to gross 15k to pay bills. My husband did 10k, on 3 days a week. My mom was dying. Not once, did he run out of fuel. You get no sympathy. Run out of fuel 4 times? Who you trying to fool? We don't need people like you. Go away!
