If you are calling me a liar, just say so. I am not arguing any point I make here. I am tired of giving information and someone always has to question it. I am done with this forum

just wow....I don't think the guy was calling you a liar...not even close. He was just wondering , like all drivers-owners, how the breakdown works.

some people use gross-net...interchangeable. the lingo in the industry is so convoluted, it always takes 5 mintutes of conversation to clarify terms.

that's because the revenues are high...and the expenses are nearly as high:biggrin_25521:.

this Is my july spreadsheet.. have at it....you can see my gross as the First column.

LMB, I hope you don't leave the forum, it's yours after all. I, for one, not only didn't question you, I praised you! I think it was great...

If you don't want to give a breakdown of a week like this, of course, it's your business. If you did though, I'm sure that would be helpful to everyone. Remember on here, everyone is coming from different areas and experiences, yes? Hope you don't leave...

Percent, thanks for posting these...very helpful. I'm starting orientation July 15... question, I noticed on your June spreadsheet you had separate columns for tractor fuel and reefer, yes? On this July, you just showed one column for fuel. Are you now combining all fuel into one? Is there any reason to distinguish between tractor and reefer fuel for accounting purposes? Thanks...

LMB many drivers would like to jump into their own truck because they see numbers like $2200.00 a trip or $6200.00 for the week and start multiplying those numbers by 52 weeks. They deduct their perceived truck payment and guesstimate the fuel cost and think they get to keep what is left over. If the rule of 3 were applied where one third goes to taxes, one third to the truck for maintenance and replacement and one third to the O/O then your 2600.00 net puts you ahead. I read the post and don't think anyone called you a liar either. What I saw is someone that doesn't fully understand the true cost of being in business. The majority of people read these forums to either help educate themselves on a topic or offer advice to a question. Because I am thinking of pulling for Sunco out of Chicago again I am very interested in this thread. I hope you stay and continue to provide updates but if you do decide to move on I wish you nothing but the best for your future.

OK Thank you all for not coming to my house and hanging me. You would not have found me home. I have been at the hospital taking care of a loved one and no internet. I was not at all thinking about Sunco or this forum. I have been hacked. I have since changed my password. Me thinks someone out there doesn't like me, go figure.
Number one: I did not make $6200.00 in one week. Only when I was running team with my beautiful wife
Number Two: The most I have made GROSS in four trips, was $4878.88(with Sunco)
Number Three: My net was $1422.85. I did have some advance money, so that can be added to it
Fuel, as everyone knows is the biggest expense. I try to keep my truck at 62mph. On the computer it is 7.3 mpg with 44k in the box. Actual figures comes out to be 6.7 mpg. This also depends on the trailer you pull. Some pull harder than others. With some 20k loads I have seen on the computer 9.2mpg , actual 7.1.
Anyone that was offended by the previous posts, I apologize

I was asking some questions because I was over at Sunco on Monday. I have all the paperwork with all the numbers and
what you posted did not add up....

Number one: I never called you a liar
Number two: You deleted your post
Number two: You did imply that you made $6200 for the week
Number three: Now you say you were hacked?
    Number four: Who's lying now?

I have not been on a computer in over 5 days. You believe what you want. I just gave you my stats on the highest paying load. Work where you want to, drive where you want to, I don't care. If you don't want me to post my info here, then don't ask. I am sorry if I have done something wrong to you

LMB, I believe you said earlier you drove a Volvo, if so what color? I drive locally out of Wildwood, Fl and see you guys all the time, last week I was stopped at the Steak and Shake and a blue Volvo for Sunco parked beside me. Could it have been you? If not I'll keep an eye out for you, I'm sure we've crossed paths a time or two.
