I didn't pay attention to the truck number, it was an older guy, clean cut. You couldn't have missed me, older FLD, ugly orange and blue paint scheme with Global Tire Recycling on the door.

I started the June spreadsheet with a reefer section. I started entering figures, but became challenged with the number of times I was filling reefers: I used the habit of every time I filled tractor, I'd top off reefer: I generally fuel tractor every 300miles(50 gals- stack showers, keep tanks low for theft protection) and I was filing reefer 3-4 gallons so I ended up with all these receipts for reefer. spreadsheet nightmare.
And sunco will reimburse for trailers picked up that aren't full- so every time you DnH you fill reefer. Pulling out of auburndale, first stop is loves polk city, top off reefer, and it's reimbursed. Those receipts also became part of my spreadsheet; so I stopped doing that part- til I develop a better tracking system.

With that being said, the reefer fuel expense has not been huge. I've also stopped fueling reefer as often. I'll fill once out of a drop n hook, and then once right before delivery. Just in case I run into an account that is actually a drop account. That way I can calc my expense off one , at most two , receipts.

    Frank Acavano Thanks this.

That's a lot of numbers trying to keep track of the reefer fuel, eh? I wish Sunco would just pay it, it's kind of rare to find a reefer co. that doesn't pay the reefer fuel eh? Except for the Trop account, of course. But that account actually pays less to the contractor than the other divisions. Oh well..
