I'm currently leased on with landstar and giving sunco some serious thought... I spoke to Faye about a year ago, I guess she left, so I spoke with Candice today... She seemed very honest, didn't try to blow me away with big numbers. She said average gross in 2500 - 3000 per week running around 2000 miles.. Do you guys know if this is accurate? My wife is wanting me home more, I live in the Ocala, FL area... Landstar is tuff in fl any info will be helpful, thx

I run the southeast region, which I assume you would want to also. I also live in North Carolina, and I manage to get home once or twice a week. I have hit 70 hours 2 weeks in a row. You should have no trouble getting home to Ocala. As fas as the pay, The orange juice loads going north pay crap, about 1.20 per mile. The loads coming back pay up to 2.50 per mile. They all pay at least 2.00 per mile. I like them, real good to work with

Hey thanks a lot... I think I'm going to make the move... The average gross numbers she gave me our very comparable to mine at landstar, and I'm out 3 weeks at a time and running harder

That's a good deal... I spoke to Faye last year... She said I live in a good spot to get home, but even if I can get to the house every 5-7 ill be happy... They seem real professional there... How are the fuel discounts?

Have you had any issues getting reimbursed for reffer fuel when picking up a trailer? I know the driver pays the fuel but I'm talking about a trailer that has been dropped

That's good... That was one of my main concerns... I don't like the idea of putting fuel in someone else's equipment... Especially when it's shared... Well I'm hopefully going to orenintarion the beginning of April... I'm committed to some loads here until then... Once again thanks for your help
