Landstar is good if you want to deal with brokers....but you have more freedom.....even as O/O here at Sunco, we have more limits on us than an O/O with your own authority.....check out their site......suncocarriers.com

Aprox 350 trucks... I was leased to Landstar for 2 years... Awesome company, I just had a very hard time getting out of Florida... What little freight they have is all locked up by guys who have been there for 20-40 years

i just did that same load... Not bad... Although when I got mty they deadheaded me up to Atlanta... They paid the whole thing... Made more sense then deadheading 150 miles south for juice...

    Sunco Question.

Do they supply the E Log system to you free of charge ?

Are they forced dispatch ? (i never want to hear the word California again as long as i am alive)

It appears a person practically has to be a saint or the next pope to get on with Landstar (im not that pure unfortunately,so i'm hoping Sunco is a little easier to appease)

Do you get your own dispatcher or do you pull from a load board ?

Any idea what there turnover rate is ?

If I come up with any more questions i post them

You get a dispatcher who reads you what's available... We don't do California... The Qualcomm is $10 a week (elogs and messaging)
