I just rolled out of that TA this morning

 

I just picked up in prosperity,sc going to Lexington, SC... The load pays like $380... I could get used to that...

 

50 miles!!!!!!

 

I need you guys to set me straight....
I spent 14 hours st smithfield tar heel last week waiting on a load.
Resdy time was 6am. I was there 535am...washout ...two laps tryin to park empty...then at shipping desk at 613 am. Smithfield declined detention.
Whats my obligation for the load....after 14 hours. Still not ready....finally ready at 145am next day.


Opinions welcome!?

I'd be pissed off too... I've never had a problem over at Smithfield... I'd probably raise hell with anyone I could at Sunco... Issues like this are one of the things I liked about being to Landstar... If a problem like this happened I would just never haul for that customer and agent... We really don't have that choice... They say non forced dispatch... But start refusing loads and see where that gets us...

 

I did that same exact load a few weeks back.....picked up at 7pm was to deliver by midnight......except the midnight delivery time was 12 o'clock noon at the delivery location....had to sit there all night waiting to get unloaded......

 

even sitting at Leesburg for 12 hours still gave me a decent week......

Miami to Port Everglades.....to Orlando.....to Leesburg....to Southaven.....to Booneville......to Orlando for Saturday am delivery......done for the week....
