Which Publix...Dacula ??...last time I delivered Dacula.....it had 3 building on the trailer at the same location and nobody wanted to unload it.....I was there from 7 am till after 7 pm that night......one good thing was I did get paid detention.....

 

From what I understand the "Sunco" name is going away and all the new trailers will be labeled "Watkins".......

 

BTW....any of you guys kinda get the cold shoulder when talking to Central......this is the second time now....and I'm just not gonna call them any more.....

I was talking to them about getting the load ASAP down to Pompano and I said I could shave an extra hour off of my time if they paid the toll for the Florida Turnpike.....just a suggestion.....

Well I got this snotty remark about we don't pay tolls and it your truck not ours and some crap like that.......

I was doing my best to get it to the customer ASAP and he came off like he doesn't even care.....so if they don't care....why should we ??

 

This was one of the newer ones... Had side skirts and super singles... I'm pretty sure they are selling off the 530 trailers

 

They are completely useless... I've mentioned this to my FM and she agreed... Other then loading money for a lumper I don't deal with them... Jerry is good, but he's only there in the evenings

 

Well believe it or not, the temperature was down to 11 degrees and snowing from Gordonsville, Va to Marion, NC.......I was doing 30 MPH.....I had to get the truck washed today to get all the salt off...it was covered......I hate it when my rolling mancave gets like that !

 

Yea dacula... 3 hours for a juice load... All publix are slow... They are very particular when it comes to checking in the loads

 

yeah....I didn't mean to imply that all were like that...some of them are pleasant to talk to....

 

I forgot to mention that when all the freight was off there was one pallet of boxed meat that should have never even been on the trailer.....wasn't even for Publix and I had no paperwork for it.......It was loaded by accident on the trailer by Americold....

 

I know what you're saying though... They really can't do much... Some of them don't want to do anything
