Where is everybody today?

I am sitting around in Montgomery, Alabama in the little fuel stop beside the T/A. The few spots at the T/A that aren't reserved for Idle Air are all full, LOL.

Laid over here until in the morning to load a dry load in to my broken reefer trailer, but being paid well to sit around

Where are you????

 

well im sittin in baytown, tx...just outside of houston...got to drop a 7500 lb steel ingot in the am and then run out to cali to finish this load....finally to homa again in about a week

 

leave MI. monday nite around 10:00 pm for the derby switch wagons then to danville, ill. running nites after the vacation

 

Have lost a filling and dentist was closed last week. Advil not doing it no more.

 

Back on the road tomorrow. Finally.

 

I'll be here, keeping kids in line, and he's heading for Canton then onto Kentucky, then only God and his dispatcher know!!

 

I had my Guard this weekend, it was a nice relaxing weekend, no real tasks to do then all of a sudden late last night a dry lightening strike in the dry mountains of Utah...would you know it right on military property, so now I am in the office monitoring the radio late at night. Glad I have the internet and all my trucker friends on the truckers report to keep me company.

 

Hmmm... yesterday I spent a few hours socializing with some co-workers from another department. Nothing like good friends, fine food, wine coolers, and a big ol' swimming pool!

Tonight I have to start thinking about what I'll be taking to Canada later this week. The Ducks is flying north for an annual get-together of some on-line friends! Oh yeah... life is good!

 

well i am setting here waiting on a meeting to start in 30 min to tell me what time to show up at the airport in the morning to catch my ride to Dubai to catch my ride to the good old USA. Leave Dubai at 0200 on the 11th land in Sacramento Ca at 2330 on the 11th 32 hours later so it will be a long day. Then out to the property we bought in Nevada and see if it is worth doing anything with or if we sell it in smaller partials any one want some high mountain desert land in Nevada i may be able to hook you up with some real quite property. Then back to Oklahoma for a week taking care of business there and then back over here for another 4 months before our next break. That one will defenatly be a vacation in Thailand.

 

Sunday I was on the pontoon (we restored) at the lake. First time taking it out. Today(Monday) I'm at home looking like . Next thing a top for the boat!!
