Sunglasses

I learned quickly, Buying cheap sunglasses from a convenience store or any similar venue. They get broken,lost. bought some oakleys for $180. Havent lost or broken them in 5-6 years, Why? not because they are better. Simply the wow factor bought over priced sunglasses ( $180 down the drain ) hard to rinse and repeat

 

Amazing, you guys can keep up with your glasses for that long.I like the polarized ones, not going to pay more than $20. though.The way windshield's shatter it is a good idea to alway's were something.

 

I think he was just being funny, TwinStick, made me laugh anyway. I use cheapies too, from Malwart. After losing a couple pair of expensive ones. On a side note here, I asked my very studious ophthalmologist at the VA Medical Center if there was any problem with using cheapies being not good for or damaging my eyes and his reply was no. Turns out that only difference could be the fact that those glasses that we pay a lot more for may be shatter proof, when cheapies aren't, but that optically they are quite fine. Just though I'd add this. Good thread!

Really? EVERY brand? Like, EVERY EVERY brand? Meaning, Mr. Informed, that there is one and only one maker of sunglasses in the world? And also meaning that you are in fact, informed?

Actually I did see a story on a TV news magazine, perhaps 60Minutes about the monopoly the company has on eyewear.
