I can’t believe what ups starts you at i keep thinking i should maybe apply for a feeder position until i see their adds start pay is $19 a hr and most reviews say it takes 4 years to make a decent wage .Trimac use to advertise $27 + a hr for local work but since covid the hourly wage has dropped

Have you talked to any drivers at UPS to verify that? I’ve heard they pay really well.

I have a nephew that just started is a swamper on a hydro vac truck for Clean Harbours north of Fort McMurray. Was washing dishes for them in one of their camps for last ten years.
$32.32 an hour, second week got 48 hours overtime. Netted $2400 for the week after taxes.
He was thinking of getting his own truck, but makes better money sitting in the passenger seat.

Think about if from the employers prospective though while you may very well be a good driver what their thinking is "why does this driver change companies so often and whats to say he won't do the same thing to us? Why should we invest our time and money into hiring him for? What you may have to do which may work is mention something about this on your resume. I'd also try personally canvasing a few companies get to know the people who hire maybe they will see you as a person, and not just a number which is what often happens when all your doing is talking over the phone or sending stuff via the internet.

10 years washing dishes? Id say he paid his dues and deserves the break.

Deck work local Calgary advertised at 18 CAD/h.
    By a well known Carrier.
I don't want to name and shame.
