Thanks for the info on Super Service. This is one of the companies I'm looking at, comparing them to USexpress.

Hi drivers. I'm kind of new but yet not new. I used to drive for FedEx Custom Critical(OTR) in a straight w/sleeper(B license). I recently graduated and now have an A license. I live in Queens NY and have been looking at 3 companies who take students, (HO Wolding / Super Service / US Express). I've been reading about USX, getting turned off by what I'm seeing. Super Service, I don't see anything bad on them. HO Wolding doesn't have any openings for someone in my region, (last conversation was they wouldn't be able to get me home when requested). What I'm trying to ask is this; Which of these 2 companies should I really consider? Super Service or USX?

I have absolutely no problem staying out 14 days with 2 home. I'd like to drive east of the Mississippi because of my dad's health. I've already explained to my dad about training and how nothing is guaranteed until I get assigned a truck. I know the pay won't be great due to me coming on as a student but this is what I want to do. I want to make a living doing this as my career.

Sooo, with all that being said, what are your comments?

I'm considering going with them but I'm still doing my homework on them and others. Let me know what's going on there.

Hey Animal. I've read and re-read your post on SuperService. Now thanks to you I believe I have made my decision to come on board. Once again, thanks for the useful info.

Well I'm slated to start on 11-24-14. So I guess that means were almost in the same boat. I just hope the roads are cleared by the time we get in our trucks. That whole region is being pounded by mother nature.
Good luck to both of us, and dress warm.

I decided on PTL for the signing bound and I only had to do a 5000 mile refresher course.
