Yeah, I saw that. One of the other drivers mentioned it too saying that there had been a bear coming in and getting in the trash fairly recently...like a month ago. I couldn't imaging getting up at dark thirty to go take a leak and seeing a bear looking at you. I wouldn't need to go to the terminal to take a leak anymore

Did you ever notice the speed limit sign at the Greer yard? It says something like 11 or 13. It was a really weird number.
After I deliver in St. Louis tomorrow I go to Westville IN to drop a dirty, then to AOC to pick up a load going to Abingdon VA which is just a few miles from the house. -
those guys working in the westville tankwash are real helpful, if you never been there before, they look at you with blank stares when asked questions. who's supposed to know the dispatcher for that area works out of her house.are you going to that resin plant ? there quick in and out.
-
yep, going to AOC ( I guss that is the plant you are talking about).
-
Be sure and grab some hoses before you go to AOC. There are never any on the spotted trailers there. Half the time its a pump unload too.
-
U will like the e-logs. It's not like Superior is a fly by nite outfit that runs illegal.

Well it looks like I am getting another day of home time. My windshield developed a small crack in it on the way back from Plaquemine this weekend. It doesn't even reach above the hood in my view ot the windshield. Shop decided it needs to be replaced and they took me off of a load going to Pa today.
They are supposed to get me out tomorrow. I am happy to get another day off. I didn't get home until around 6 PM Saturday. This makes it feel like a full weekend instead of one day off. Plus I get paid 4 hours for going in today. -
Man that is funny that you mentioned that about getting hoses
.
I dropped my trailer and bobtailed over to AOC. Got my preload and guess what..yep, no hoses and none to be found on the 20 or so trailer sitting there. So I had to head back over to the Westville tank wash and get hoses before heading out.
I am at the house tonight after being out for 9 days. Load delivers tomorrow just 30 minutes from home. Deliver tomorrow and come back to the yard. Got some work to do on the truck so probably go back out Friday or Monday.
How was that Ranbar place? Directions looked like it would be kinda screwy to get into. -
I didn't go there. That load delivers Tuesday at 8 AM.
When I got to the yard today to go pick it up they decided my truck needed a new windshield and took me off the load. I am at home and it looks like it will be Wednesday before I get back out there.
At least I am getting some nice weather for this extended home time. Grilled some steaks on the deck tonight. Its dropping into the mid 60's overnight here this week. Real nice to be outside.
Looking forward to spending tomorrow with my son. He will be a senior in high school this year so days like this will be fewer and farther apart in the future. -
I am actually looking forward to the E-logs. I have done my level best in the last few years to run legal. I have had the occasional 15 minutes or so trying to find a spot, traffic..etc. but I run legal. That showing a 34 in Texas while riding across TN is long gone
