They are making up for last week. I headed out Labor Day to load in Plaquemine Tuesday. Dropped that on the yard today and am heading out tomorrow afternoon with a Holland Mi out and back. That one should get me in Saturday night in time to make the Panther opener against the Seahawks on Sunday. I will gross over $1700 this week with the holiday pay Monday.

After a good year of rumors and gossip, I saw a new Mack in Markham. Don't know if it belongs to someone yet, so I didn't try to look inside. It's a midroof but the sleeper looks to be a good deal longer than the current trucks.

I was told Morrow will be getting new trucks at the beginning of next year. Probably around March I think. I hope I get one. And yes they will be Macks. Maybe a couple KW's thrown in as well.

Hey wsyrob, I was thinking about applying at Superior. I live in Charleston, SC. I was just wondering if you know anything about the terminal here? Good terminal manager? Dispatchers? Is the work plentiful in this area? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have much experience with that terminal personally. Only been there once. Every other driver I have talked to out of there has been happy. No griping like you get from drivers at some terminals. I met Linda when I was there and she seems like good people. On your way in talk to some driver on the yard and throw them a recruiting bonus.

Not much to report. All dedicated these few weeks. I have done 4 out and back runs. 2 to N Chicago. 1 to Charleston WV and one this week to Mcintosh Al. The money has been a little below average. I am about $1000 behind where I was YTD last year. I have been home a lot more though. Taking some vacation time to head to the mountains starting tomorrow for a 4 day weekend.

Khayes, I finally got to meet Linda today. You guys are right, she is an awesome person. We talked for a little over an hour. She is very genuine. She told me the good, the bad, and the ugly. Overall, I am very pleased with Superior as a whole. She pretty much offered me a job if I wanted it. She also encouraged me to talk with other drivers. With that being said, How do you like working out of the Charleston terminal? How long do you usually stay out before you get back home?
