Hello all,
I currently reside in NY. Yes, I know Superior doesn't have any terminals out this way. I'm looking to get out of NY, and was hopeful on possibly getting on with Superior sometime after I settle in. I'm not necessarily opposed to anywhere, but I would strongly prefer NOT the NorthEast. I was looking at possibly the Kingsport, TN area. I was just curious if anyone had any suggestions....pros and cons to each location? If you're from there/out of there, that would be better!
Thanks!

i worked for Superior Carriers for two years out of Wilington NC. Great company to work for, if your open to just moving south, I'd try the High Point, NC terminal. Always has great loads. When Wilmington was slow they would send me to work out of there. Never really dealt with the Kingsport terminal but I know it's a smaller terminal. Also the Terminal in SC was nice.

Thanks! If you don't mind my asking, what made you leave (I'm assuming based on your phrasing)?

It had nothing to do with my experience with Superior, I had a different opportunity and I went with it. In hind sight leaving superior was a bad decision. I now live in upstate NY or I'd go back. The only terminal in the area is Springfield, Ma.

I had the same deal. Had an opportunity come up that I debated taking. Went ahead and took it because I knew if I did not that I would always wonder if it would have been a good move. Two days into the new job and I had serious regrets quitting Superior. A full circle later I am back on with them. Superior is a great company to drive for.HauntedSchizo19 Thanks this.

I'm glad all worked out, for now! I've been thinking about it for awhile now, and I think the time is approaching very fast!

Hope you escape N.Y. Haunted. If you are looking to move south, I would suggest Savannah. Great terminal, great loads, and it doesn't snow there. In all honesty, Kingsport is one of the terminals in the system I rarely ever see, and by all accounts is slow, slow, slow with very little freight. Just my two cents.
HauntedSchizo19 and wsyrob Thank this.
