I definitely don't go into anything blindly, been burned too many times. It's too easy to get information in today's world, there's no excuse for not knowing better anymore. My 15 years in law enforcement taught me that when several sources unrelated to each other are saying the same thing, it's usually true.

Awesome man! Let me know how it works out.

Lol. Yeah, so I’ve heard.
-
I've heard nothing but good things about them. I'm actually thinking about switching to tanker work and Superior Carriers will be my first choice.
-
The only complaints I could find about Superior were about the Mack & International trucks and the 65mph governors. I am new to driving trucks so probably won't be an issue for me since I know no difference between one truck or another & my lack of experience will be just fine yankin' a tank down the road at 65.Mortarmaggot Thanks this.

Best of luck to you.
I'm out running the system currently. Hope to see you out here. I'll be in Markham Tuesday. -
I'm sure our paths will cross out there as I'll be running the system as well. I'm eager to get started! I was at the Lakeland, FL terminal Tuesday to sign company paperwork & now just waiting for them to issue me a number so I can get started. I did my physical & all of that the previous week. Every step seems like it takes a week so just trying to be patient but I'm going stir crazy at home not working. I'm gonna hit the ground running for sure. I really appreciate all the information you put out there, it was very beneficial to me selecting a good company right out of the gate. What trucks are they running for the sleepers? I did my road test in an International, it was my first time driving an automatic, kinda strange but not bad!Mortarmaggot and MYSTYKRACER Thank this.

Since you are a new CDL are you in their "Entry Level Driver Training" program? Will you be going to their training facility in South Carolina? Superior is definitely on my short list so I'd really appreciate hearing about what the training program is like? One thing I read is that their training pays $20/hr? If that's true that's pretty much the highest training pay I've heard anywhere. I think Schneider tanker training in Houston, TX pays $80/day.

I live right outside of Lakeland so I see those trucks daily. They have nice looking equipment, better than the other big tanker outfit up the road.
SurfBaker Thanks this. -
LOL...now that's a loaded statement if I ever heard one.FlaSwampRat Thanks this.
