If not there then it is added in later version. I am always on a Beta so hard to remember what is on production.

    Thanks,

I'm connected now. After downloading and installing the 'regular' updates, I shut it off, disconnected, waited, then reconnected. It still doesn't show a new map available. However, I've been reading the many pages I missed and it appears the servers might be overloading, so I'll keep trying. And reading!

No problem. Hubby thinks he will be OK with the chime for now.

Yes, and since it might be Apple-related, I will plug in the standby PC I have and see if that works.

I HAVE a real computer. It's this crumby PC that I replaced, but it's working, so it's still good for something...! :)

on my 720, I am currently doing the map update, I am running software version 3.56.2922.1315
BEFORE I update the unit itself, I want to verify that I can rollback software to this version if the new UI takes me back a step (based on the critical "I cant see road names etc" on the new tnd tablet version) am I in luck or do I need to beware of updating it for now?

It is not a "critical" I can't see road names. They are talking about the "shields" for the interstate, they would like them a little bigger.

No you cannot RollBack.. WalMart maybe, but not the TND. Doe the map update then the regular update - v 3322.

    Thanks,
    Mark
