Ya no that aint it. These units weren't even available in 2001 and the time and date on my pc are current. I think it must have something to do with RM's server or a file on the unit. That's my thought anyway.
    Thanks anyway

Sounds like a system default time/date.

I would do a cleanup again by un-installing the Dock, deleting the RNDDOCK folder, cleaning the registry of anything RNDDOC, and then installing the dock again and see what happens. I take this is a 720?

Make sure the drive letter assigned to the SD card is higher than the TND drive letter. For example, TND = E, SD Card = F.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I understand RM has to keep things official, but VDOT doesn't control Cities, or Henrico or Arlington County. I know this first hand as I plow for them sometimes in the winter. Cities in VA are independent, not part of any county and more or less operating as there own little world. Arlington and Henrico have exceptions that go way back to the beginning.

    This is from http://gis.vdot.virginia.gov/VATruckWeb/VaTruckRestrictions.aspx

    1. Restrictions based on the indicated length or vehicle / vehicle combination for all highways not within a city or incorporated town (other than interstates) or on routes numbered higher than 599 in Henrico and Arlington Counties.
Not trying to argue with you, no doubt in probably every other state on the planet the states DOT is calling the shots everywhere, just not here. Like I said, I appreciate you looking into it. If I get a response (from official channels) on trucks and 895 I can forward it to you directly if you like.

    Thanks again man

California is the same way. Having hauled oversize loads there, the permits received from CALTRANS only apply to the interstates. Anytime you go off the interstate, a county or local permit is required. Access rules are very limited. The weird part is, if CHP catches you on a county or local road, they have no jurisdiction except to notify the proper authority who then responds to issue the citation. Happy travels!

    Mark Kling Thanks this.

Hey mark, I am using the TND Tablet, and I noticed this with the 720 as well.

When you check fuel prices along route, even on my home 100Mb/s internet connection, it takes FOREVER to pull prices. But if I just have to show me prices around me, its almost instant.

I dont know if there could be a suggestion for when you look up travel stops, there could be a button to retrieve fuel prices for that stop, or pull all the truck stops in route then a button to batch pull all the fuel prices for just the stores you have listed or something. Because the delay makes this option to check prices on route almost useless.

Also, latest update for the dash cam is nice, but still would like the option to lock the focus, so It doesent auto-focus on a bug spatter or the suction cup and make all the traffic blurry. Just a suggestion.

Also I'm noticing on Live traffic, some cities are showing green for everything even though traffic is heavy, and then showing a ? mark. Phoenix for example off the top of my head.

Thanks for all you do for us here, man.

Is there anyway to not have those lane arrows pop up? On some roads they pop up on every traffic light and I'd rather have the cross street names visible. Being a local driver I do not need to know what lane I'm suppose to be in. I already have junction view turned off.

The turn arrows cannot be turned off. They are part of the Junction View file.

    Thanks,
    Mark

You should be using the RM USB cord.

    Thanks,
    Mark
