New maps are being tested, but I will forward this info to RM for them to verify the information.

    Thanks,

I had a 4gb update to maps on my 530. CA99 is mostly correct, just a few spots where it's still off. I don't remember the exact spots as it was a couple weeks ago.

On another note, I made updates for the software and now the unit is stuck in full daytime brigtness when it switches to night mode. I have to go to the settings for it to change. Then the same thing happens when it goes back to day mode. Stays at the lower brightness settings til I go into the settings.

The automatic change was working properly til I did the update.

I have noticed the same on my 730. As soon as I select the brightness option, it makes the change.

    From the OS Version button:
    730-067273-EL-15W26
    A6.RM.2T730.150309.0

    2.2.3.0
    Thanx for looking into this.

What's the difference between the 720 and 730 other than updated hardware and software.

Any features the 730 has the 720 doesn't.

The 730 gives you the option to choose a route with tolls and an estimated toll cost, or one with no tolls.

730 is faster and has more internal memory and doesn't need SD card for new maps, as of yet. Responds faster to inputs and recalc.
