I'm having a few issues after the recent map update to the 730. A couple times it has had me take an exit, only to get back on the interstate at the next on ramp, and this morning I got some type of memory error while I was trying to zoom in on my destination. I've been able to re-create one of the exit/get-back-on issues. Mark, any suggestions? I did have to download the maps update twice as it errored the first time - maybe something got corrupted?

Every Rand McNally gps i have had does crazy stuff like ramp you off and on. As well as takes you 10 miles past your destination and make a uturn and come back to it .

Besides posting the same thing in different sections of TTR?

Memory is the only thing that you should reboot for every couple of days.

Define "Bricks", since this sounds like freezing to me and could be corrupted maps.

Start a conversation with me and try to keep your TND posts to one thread. I don't have to chase them then.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Let me know the way you recreated it.

Also start a conversation with me and I will give you my E-Mail address as I will need the Navi/Logs off the unit to see if it recorded the error.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The only time it will take you past your destination is when there is a Median between the lanes. HERE is addressing this as in past maps the Median was not regarded as a means to cross over.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Try formatting your SD Card on your computer and then place back in the Dash Cam and see if that helps.. If not, let me know.

    Thanks,
    Mark
