Support You

Guys and Gals i wish i was there to support you in person in you time of need but unfortunately i am supporting some of your sons and daughters in a bigger fight right now. I am over here in the sand box and it is getting that time of year that the heat is turning up on the weather. I only hope that your efforts are not wasted and you can get all the drivers,O/O and independent O/O together and pull this off. We know we can't get the fuel and gas companies to quit lining there pockets but maybe we can get the American consumers attention if while you are shut down you boycott the producers of items that refuse to pay the FSC or try and get by with the cheap freight rates to pass on a so called rise in transportation charge to there end customer the American consumer and bring to the attention of the consumer that its not the transportation that is costing them its the profit margin of the company making the items that is costing them. With the CEO and the owners of these companies still getting these 6 digit or better bonus for making them so much money every year by charging the consumer inflated prices to make more of a profit while cutting cost by hiring cheap labor and cheating the trucker out of a profit by not paying a decent rate to move their product to the store where the consumer pays the inflated price. Again i am behind you 100% and hope you can make a difference and get trucking back to what it used to be a very enjoyable way to make a living and support your family. Stick together and don't fight amongst your selves and speak to the public and the news media like the educated and articulate people you are and let them know the problem isn't the American consumer its the BIG BUSINESS in this country trying to break the back of the little man STILL. If you can do that and get the American public behind you you will win this fight and get some interest in the problems of the little man for a change.
