Odd, usually they give you the city/state and no street address. Does he fuel at common truck stops?

Did his dispatch say why they only give intersections? would be hard if you did not know the city.

    Thanks,
    Mark

No we have not contacted Customer Support for an RMA yet. Right now that would mean not having a GPS the whole time it takes to complete the return process, find a way to ship it and actually ship it to Rand while over the road, have them do what ever they are going to do, have it shipped to my house and add then to that the time it takes my husband to get back to the house to pick it up. That is a long process, I was hoping it was something that was a quick fix.

As for the travel centers, I believe he tried to find them by City it but they did not come up. Later we found out that it was actually listed under a different city name. I do not remember which specific ones it was. We will let you know when we come across another one.

Sorry, I forgot to say that they did give the city but instead of an address it was just an intersection. I am just trying to find out if there is a way to find truck stops by the store #. If the city is wrong because it is really in another small town and you do not have an actual address it makes it very hard to be sure you are selecting the correct stop without a lot of hassle. Address and town different? hmmm not sure if that is the right place with out having to do a bunch of stuff to figure it out.
Just saying that it would be helpful if the ability is there to search by store # and wanted to know if the ability was there and we just didn't not know.

I will have to check the database and see if they actually break the store number down or it is part of the name.

Does your husband use the below method?

Main screen/chose destination/city -(enter city)/travel center - this will bring back a list and the store number is in the header info. He can also use quick stops instead of travel center.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Ed, I am sorry to hear that. You know I live about 25 miles from you. You could have contacted me and I would have invited you to my house to resolve the issues. I live just behind Troutman.

    thanks,
    Mark

yep I get similar screwy things too; in london ontario the flying j is just s of the 401 off of highbury but head either east or west and the 500 wants to go aaaaaaall the way around instead of getting the direct route; and I was in south holland near chicago 2 weeks ago and the route to the interstate went bonkers it actally directed me onto a no truck route; Im just a newbie rookie driver I really have a hard time trying to deal with these crazy directions and navigate safely and efficiently. I stopped downloading the updates because initially I was hoping they were fixes for minor problems but now these problems have become more frequent and serious. sorry

this morning from bow junction in nh it gave me a long route around to go south when I was right on the 93; I had freeways as allow, but freeways prefer did pretty much the same thing; and then heading back north with freeways prefer it kept on wanting me to go back SOUTH and across to the 93 almost the whole time I was on 3 heading N to catch 93. Im having to think of this as a moble-map than routing device. thank you for your interest

I have a TND-710 and it no longer starts up all the way. It is giving me a navi.exe error.

Is there a fix for this on the 710 without sending it in?
