Hi guys. Been a while since I posted here. I finally upgraded to a 720 after my 500 crapped out. Screen wouldn't respond to touch anymore. Re-purposed it as a doorstop.
The 720 works great, love all the new features. Don't like the position of the USB port. It was better on the side.
Anyway, today after running over some rough highway in PA, the window mount arm snapped at the thin spot right next to the swivel ball. I just bought this unit in February. Any way I can get the mount arm replaced or purchase a new one?:biggrin_2554:

Power comes from the USB connector pins 1 and 5. USB handshaking comes from Pins 2, 3, and 4.

Make sure these pins are not pushed back. Looking at the very end you should see 5 gold "dots" (end of pins) looking at you and flush with the outside.

Does the TND show connected on the TND screen?

    Using the RM USB cable?

Try another computer or USB Port?

    Thanks,
    mark

Did you call Rand Support and let them know the Bracket broke?

    Thanks,
    Mark

The Non-STAA section of US-93 is currently east
of Kingman, AZ, junction with I-40 (exit 71) to Wickenburg, AZ.

Per GIS Dept. We have not received any information on further
consideration of this section for designation (STAA) nor have I been able to find any
    mentioned
    .

    Thanks,
    Mark

I haven't read all 583 pages I tried about 10 and couldn't find the answer

my 720 will not hold a charge, if its unplugged it shuts off, the red light blinks when plugged in, and the batter indicator on the main menu shows a lighting bolt. Can this be repaired or do I need to purchase a new one ... This unit is 6 months old ... I recently just started using some of the features I ignored, such as fuel, and mileage, and im now in love with it....I had the 510 wich was stolen then I purchased this one (just wanted the bigger screen) if I cannot correct this problem will the 510 give the same features

Is this with the AC and DC cords? If yes, then call Rand Support. If only with the DC cord then call Rand Support for a DC cord.

Make sure you grab the files Navi/User and RM/User since all your data is there.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Apologies for taking so long to thank you for looking into this, Mark.
It turns out there is, in fact, a 13' 11" sign in the eastbound lane only. Tho, I suspect that's merely the lowest point on the right side. ;-).

That restriction follows all lanes. It will be corrected in the next update to the map set after the one to be released soon.

    Thanks,

All, due to a recent Rand McNally Social Media Policy change, I now have to post my real name instead of an ID. Thanks to the site owner for making this very painless ID change.

    Thanks,
    Mark
