Suspect In Fiery, Deadly I-70 Crash Bonds Out Of Jail

Our court set a high bail for him.
Do you think just because he is a different skin color then you that he will leave the country? What about his wife and kid? Are they going to go on the lamb with him?

 

i too am saying throw the book at him....IF HE DOES NOT FLEE.....that was my main concern when I started this thread..(in fact many others too are saying throw the book at him as well)

don't matter his nationallity as you say, cuz no matter where he is from, being out on bail and having so many others that posted that bail, they can hide him, and get him back to his country, and from there, i also believe he will change his name, come back to the states, get another CDL and go out there again, STILL unable to know what to do...what then...??? arrest him, post bail and he flee's again..??

that's like groundhog day (the movie) where the same day is repeated time after time...do we want that of this guy..????

the problem is, the bleeding hearts (some here) many others that posted his bail, thinks he is getting railroaded, and that is farthest from the truth..he admitted to what he had done, either thru an interpeter or speaking for himself..that alone should have been enough to DENY bail and keep him locked up until his trial.

too many others are saying that it's an "accident".....WTF...???

maybe for the driver that TRIED HIS BEST to avoid such a disaster and maybe sideswiped some cars before ditching, then i "might" consider that an accident...

i may not find the news stories now, but i HAVE to believe that many here have also read stories in the news or seen videos, where PROFESSIONAL drivers rolled it over or ditched it to avoid hitting school buses, and others, to AVOID such a catastrophic crash like this jerk did.....

The latest I heard he thanked all those that are helping him and expressed sorrow for what happened. This guy probably heard all the stories in the country of how everyone it treated, you know , work hard, mess up once, be thrown under the bus so the rich keeps getting richer. He has stayed around so far.

 

Speaking of Cuba I’m just passed by it.

 

I wll bet he gets prison time, how much would be a wild guess. If those in charge does their job, he will be deported as soon as we get through feeding him and never be able to return.
I would also bet he never desires to drive a truck again at all, even though he is cuban, he is still human and I am sure this will weigh heavily on him the rest of his life. More than one trucker has committed suicide over matters like this.

 

Why would he be deported if he’s here legally?

 

New developments in this story. Apparently the driver attempted to flee from the accident scene. This was not known of nor taken into consideration during his bail hearing. The DA is requesting the judge modify bond conditions to include a GPS tracking device. The judge has not responded as of yet.

Persons with "Green Cards" are routinely deported after having served a prison sentenced for a major crime. Even immigrants who have obtained citizenship have been stripped of citizenship and deported following their prison term.
