Do you have any violations on your MVR? The suspension will be listed on there. I am concerned about tickets or accidents?

 

wthe farthest they can look back on your mvr is 7 years but most companies pull the 3 year. Now any felonies or misdemeanors? those can throw a kink in things but most times can be explained and get you in the door. I understand doing what makes you happy. I used to be a piercer. Hints why I know what goings on in the shop lol. But I was only doing that to waste time till all my speeding tickets fell off from high school. This job is not just driving where you want and cruising the country side. I think you should take a week or 2 off and go ride with a trucker and see what it is really like reality is far from what most people think it is. Their is a reason why this is one of the most stressful jobs in the world.

 

umm bad news DJ food out here most time is you take what you can get out of the truck stop or you don't eat. We can't just pull these things up where ever we want. Even most grocery stores kick us out. And it is hard almost all the time. How many hours do you work a week? Because we all work at least 70hours sometimes more if your good at coloring your comic book Almost every moment of this job is stressfull. From FM yelling then the shp is yelling not them then its the con not them then its the wifey or gf

 

What year was the incident? How many miles over the posted speed limit?

Trucking companies utilize either a 5 or 10 year MVR, depending on their hiring practices.

Let us use a 10 year MVR for instance to see what you would qualify for. Any other violations within the last 10 years? Including felony convictions, DUI's....

 

Just the last 10 years is all you need to focus on.

 

If it was over 10 years ago go sling some ink and get that crap exsponged asap
