they used to ask if the felony was within the last 10 years. Now days they ask if you have had a misdemeanor felony or conviction EVER
-
no no no I was just saying that you will be able to start driving in 2-3 easy. maybe sooner. but then 10 years down the road if you fallow those steps they wont ever know anything about anything in the past. you will look like you just came out the autoclave. Got it?
-
If that is the only violation other than the suspension that you have then you should have no problem getting into a training program and then placed with a company.
Keep us posted and Best of Luck!!!!! -
oh my bad.yeah thats true in ten yrs time i hope to have my own truck
-
WHY do you want to drive trucks?
Everyone has their own reasons... what are yours? -
might want to look into werner as they have a terminal in your town. well dallas. same thing. Just a thought. You will come to find out all the big companies that hire students are all the same. they all pretty much suck. but you have to get the experience in so you can go to someplace better
-
Get your license and get enrolled in a school so that you can get rolling with a company.
Best!!! -
I dont want to drive a truck. I want to drive whatever I can and get PAID. I rather be a rally car driver honestly. But that dont mean I can't pretend when I hit that mud filled drop yard and I start bobtailing around in high range O yeah

My concern here is Mr. djtrucker is unhappy pounding ink because it became a job. Trucking is a job. I don't know about anybody else here, but I'm in it to make money. Yes, I get to go to some really awesome places, but I rarely have time to stop and hang out. It is not a paid vacation. So when this individual decides he is unhappy with trucking because it's a job, what will he do then?
Also, the more I hear of the history, the more I think perhaps some time between him and his history will be better, and take some time to establish a more stable work history. Even if it means slinging burgers at BK. Get a paid job, keep it for two years, pay taxes, pound ink on the side to fill the gaps and he will have a better shot at some of the better jobs.
Answer all questions on the application honestly. There are a number of them that ask, "Have you ever..." They can and will check. Lying will only get you fired after it is found. Getting fired for dishonesty looks worse on your record than never getting hired in the first place.
