The steering box gas two chambers, one is pressure and the other is return when turning right, they are reversed for turning left. You tear the box down, look inside at the two cavities and find a good place to drill and tap an NPT into each chamber.. Where the fittings arent gonna interfere with anything and the wall thickness is sufficient.
These ports are now routed to an assist ram on the housing that pushes the knuckle, steer arm, tie rod or draglink. However you want to set it up
