Don't be so negative, not everyone put their lives in a bind and need to slave for some company.

There is the exact reason why I like to run. I was asked whether I wanted all 48 or eastern by a member. I was hesitant on eastern but will do solo 48. If you have kids, this could be a good thing as you'll spend more time.

Roehl does this; however, it is called their 14/7 and 7/7 fleets.

Seems like the people this fleet is targeting, are already accepting lower paychecks anyway.

Less than 1961 miles per week? 280 (roughly) miles per day?? That's one of four things: a true part-timer (4.5 or at most 5 hours of driving and we'll just give 'em an hour for other BS...42 hours per seven days) a person who has no idea how to work a log book and gives away time at shippers-receivers, someone who thinks they should only haul looooong loads of 1,000-plus miles or only go where they want to go and turns everything else down OR a DM who doesn't give a crap and is trying to starve the driver.

Change DMs or get to work, whichever category you fall into. If you can't work a log book, ask someone who is making miles to show you how. If you think you're too special to actually work, clean the truck out and give it to someone who will work. Swift is not in this business to mollycoddle prima donnas or be a huge travel agent. It's a job!

So if you have a XXXX DM you miles will suck. 6500 a month and they put you in it. Afriend who never turns down anything stays out 3 weeks is in it. They picked him with 6530. He was off for 4 days and came back and got his old truck. It never moved. They are doing it with the newer trucks only.
