    You are forgetting that every driver has their own "Schtick" so to say. For me I tried the local deal..turned out the 18-20 hour days (including commute time both ways) were too much to even give me the rest I needed, let alone have any time with family, or the chores around the property. I (and my wife, for reasons that belong on another thread..."married for how long?") prefer the long haul, especially now, I am getting the miles I need plus I am home every fourth day at least.

    Why do you have to put other peoples choices down? Just because they don't agree with you?

    I don't camp anymore...mama won't let me put my fire boots on so I can stand ON the fire...don't want to dribble around the campsite!

    I carried mine when camping. It was only 8 miles from the firehouse and 3 from the district.

    It was great to use the gloves to move the burining wood.:biggrin_25525:

    The true sign of age: Remeber in days gone by..peeing into the toilet meant standing back so you wouldn't test the water temperature standing there? With age, you don't dip with your stick, but pat with your sac!

    Don't you just hate it when that happens....man that water was cold this morning!
