Swift abandoned us!!!!

Burrito's should never be blamed, it's clearly your company that is at fault. Did they just have a safety or an ops meeting? Those typically cause stomach issue.

 

I wish I had someone that could talk to swift for me. My blood pressure would be so much lower

 

Go with the new standard and let your wife, mother or father talk to them for you. Seems like a large number of truckers are going that way. Pass the buck

This all comes from communication with nothing but text and email. I hate getting texts when a phone call will clear it up in 5 minutes but it takes 30 to text back and forth. Now a days the younguns just do not know how to talk to people, let alone their employer. Hell, kids will text each other from across the room.

 

The guy that loads me has to move 30+ loads a day. Our dispatch is done by text, but if it's more than "here to there, load at xx" it's a phone call. I like being able to send head counts and weights instead of waiting on the phone.

 

There are situations like you mentioned but people have actual personal relationship correspondence via text. I have had people text me different questions and after about the 3rd question I tell them to call me or leave me alone.

I have people text me addresses and phone numbers all the time because I usually get the call while I am driving. This way I have it and don't have to try and write something down while driving.

I like it for stuff like that but not for conversations.
