There are several threads on this topic on here. The states started cancelling the CDL's around the first of the year. It has caused some folks a world of hurt. So many people have already moved on and left Swift, so they found themselves without a vehicle to test in.

Up and down (and I do mean up and down) I-5 occasionally out to UT, ID..but mostly I-5, which is fine 2400 miles+ each week, home every third day or more..works out just fine!

Howdy girlie girl! But that was only (ONLY?) 5000! GP is saying 25k, and this one (her significant other) just got notified. I sent her a PM and asked her to give more details, but no response yet!

In my earlier post I said I had until Sept. 9th to retest. I should have said Sept, 1st. Also not everyone has had their licenses suspended. It depends on your particular state. In SC they have given us until Sept. 1st to retake the tests both written and driving to retain our licenses at no cost. After that your license will revert back to whatever you had before you got your cdl-a. It will then cost you normal fees for the tests and $100 for the cdl-a to be reinstated. My current company is going to allow me to use a truck to retake the test from what they have said. If not I guess they'll become my ex-employer after I take care of it on my own. I wouldn't stay with a company that wouldn't loan a truck for the test under these circumstances especially since no test=no license=no job.

You need to check your facts...I had a student (after the milington debaucle) who atended TDA school in Sacramento, CA...she had been with me the full six weeks, went solo for 6 weeks, going broke due to the school costs and breakdowns, just about everything you could think of...she then moved over to Gordon, stayed there for 3 months, and then she and her husband joined US Xpres, doing very well, then the hammer dropped.
She got the notice from CA DMV, that her license was being suspended, and she had to come to DMV, retest all aspects. US Xpress worked with her, got her to Fontana, allowed her to use their truck to do the road test.
This little story was to emphasize that the situation created at Millington effected all students who attended any school that uses "third party testing" for the DMV after completeing the schools course. There have been drivers in many states that have received notice of suspension. So use this computer and read a little, see for yourself how many have been affected, look at the class action suits filed, filed from different states!
You are dead wrong when you think that it is only Millington! And somewhere in the near future, you will see there is more to this story than just a schools testing criteria...if that were the case...why were there so many different federal agencies involved in the raid, DEA, FBI, Customs and Imigration, US Marshalls, Secret Service, Inspector General for Fed DOT, FMCSA, multiple TN agencies..should that not be enough to raise the ####les on the back of your neck...don't forget ATFE! -
