Patty, it was perfectly understandable the way you wrote it. Some people just can't comprehend a change in the train of thought.

Ya it was no fun retyping it all and then some on this itty bitty phone keyboard .

What does Swifts safety record got to do with it? My goodness, man, it's about profits, not safety. I'm sure swift has more than one motor carrier enforcement on their bankroll.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -

somehow it re-ignited; probably due to the cotton load. RIP. condolences. not a dry eye in my home . . .TROOPER to TRUCKER and HalpinUout Thank this. -
Opinions please. In the pics it shows the trailer "broke" towards the center,do U think is happened before impact or when the truck went thru the swale prior to striking the abutment? RIP Trainer
-
swift has numerous trucks on the road the numbers of this and that will rise. I'm thinking the newbie nodded at the wheel.
rest in peace -
I think it happened on impact. I believe the report stated the trailer had bails of cotton on board.4mer trucker Thanks this.
-
Read that also but was wondering if a HARD BOUNCE thru the swale would / could have caused it. I've seen pics of a few trailers collapsing in the same area recently including one pic in front of a Loves TS that I couldn't figure out
-
I did the same thing. I wonder how fast the truck was going prior to impact and also the weight of the load.
