I don't see what you did wrong. You found the punctured tire during a pretrip and wanted to get it fixed. The mechanic wouldn't do it. It's not your fault.

Putting my kids on a bus? Not a fricken chance.... When my kids get in the truck at home.... They will depart this truck at home...

In my experiences taking equipment to the company terminal is more of a nightmare & I always ended up at a different OUTSOURCED shop a day or 2 later to get it fixed properly....

One thing about most outsourced shops.... They fix it properly.... Company terminals only fix what they have to fix.... If it died a day or 2 later... They don't care.

I drove a bus for Jefferson Lines for a few months mostly between Tulsa and Kansas City. It was basically the same as Greyhound. We took Greyhound tickets and passengers switched between carriers. I could go into a long list of stories, but I did have some underage travelers.

Usually, the parent would accompany them onto the bus and ask if they could sit up near me, the driver. This did not bother me, but I was not their babysitter. When we stopped for breaks they'd go off and do who knows what and talk to all kinds of characters.

I only drove for a few months, but more than a few times I had to stop on the shoulder somewhere and get unruly passengers under control. I would not recommend putting a minor on a bus unless it is a short trip.

    ChipnChair Thanks this.
