That tanker did end up springing a leak, theres a thread on this same wreck in the trucking accidents section.
http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...377-i-20-mississippi-river-bridge-closed.htmlFloTheWaitress and Hammer166 Thank this. -
Yikes! Looks like a regular "cluster truck" happened. Was this due to icing on the bridge, part of the big storm?
-
Huh, so now we are running head racks on pickups?

Also looks like the 5th wheel setup in the bed sheared off, the front of that trailer is right against the back of that cab. -
Really wish all the dealers would notice the lasso straps through the rim garbage. Do not want a new law for it, but do know the local Porsche/BMW dealer puts it straight in their terms of what NOT to do.
-
I'd bet it was a gooseneck setup and popped right off the ball.
-
Hahaha! ! Just noticed the name of the company on the pickups door, too funny!
-
Nah, my guess is it was due to idiot drivers following too close & being in a big 'ol hurry.
-
Yet I see guys do it all the time, if someone delivered my high end car with straps through the wheels with no protection on them, they'd be buying me four new wheels.
-
For one thing that truck only has half its weight on the trailer and the other is that trailer could haul 3 3/4t pickups.
No where close to that weight on the trailer show in the pic.
3/4t modern pickups easily go 8000 lbs...........each.
