Maybe he was trying for a remake of "Everybody Hurts"
(filmed near there) -
I removed my wise guy comment. The guy that was nearly killed by the Swift truck falling on him, said the driver had a broken neck and was bleeding from the mouth. So he's probably not long for the world. Christ have mercy.
Someday when enough people are killed and maimed, somebody is going to hold the fat cats at that company accountable.Last edited: Jan 9, 2018

Very sad. Doesn't matter what company, I'm sure he has family and didn't do this on purpose.
Oxbow, BigBob410 and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
First rains in a while build up of oils on roads always gets a few, it is amazing how quiet things get when it is all sliding.

I cant believe that the elogs didn't keep this from happening... you would think that these "smart trucks" would have taken control and deployed the parachute or the safety bubble or even the pillow top landing mattress for crying out loud. What the hell is a steering wheel holder supposed to do at 62 mph when that concrete wall keeps getting closer and closer. Heaven forbid he actually have to drive that truck...because when a swift driver actually has to drive bad things happen. Scary things. The kinds of things that make children look not once or twice but three times when they cross the street. Maybe they should start to look up too...
Trucker61016 and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
What's the word around Mira Loma as to what happened?
